Called By Name Sunday, 1,200 names were submitted. For this annual event, out priests are asked to submit names of men and women who would be good candidates for the priesthood or religious life. We welcomed 13 new seminarians last fall and have accepted 24 seminarians for this upcoming fall, with a potential of six more. What a blessing it is to have 60 men studying for the priesthood.

Members of the Good Shepherd Society take a leadership role in advancing the mission of the Diocese of Austin, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting those in need in our entire community. Members annually commit to a gift of at least $500 and receive special benefits for various levels of membership.
