Mission Education

The Mission office at the Diocese of Austin strives to promote a passion for Missionary Activity through Mission Education throughout the diocese. Visit MISSIO (see below) to find resources for continued education on Missions, our call to evangelization and more.

MISSIO is the official online platform of the Holy Father's own Pontifical Mission Societies that allows people to sponsor a fundraiser for an overseas Mission project or embrace an existing project located in some of the 1,100 Catholic Dioceses of Africa, Asia, Oceania and Latin America. Platform users can also show support by donating directly to a project or sharing information about projects via social media.

The Missio App provides opportunities to get involved in missions through donations and education.
