Yamilet Munoz

Yamilet "Yami" Munoz was born and raised in
San Antonio, TX, where she attended St. Mary's University. She graduated with a Bachelor's in International and Global Studies and a Bachelor's in Spanish with a minor in Portuguese. 

Prior to joining the staff at the Diocese of Austin, Yami worked as the Liturgy Administrative Assistant at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, and prior to that interned with the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco in their Mission Advancement Office.
Yami's role at the Diocese as Cultural Ministries Outreach Associate is to support all areas of ministry for the work of Cultural Diversity and regularly supports work in Asian and Pacific Islander Ministry, Black Ministry, Deaf Ministry, Hispanic Ministry, and etc.
